Any body ever get this error or know how to fix it?
This is the error I get:
The magic number in GZip header is not correct. Make sure you are passing in a GZip stream.

Something has gone wrong with the data file of EditVoicepack.
The file is stored in C:\ProgramData\EditVoicepackX
Notice this is a hidden folder, but if you enter it in the address bar, it will open (assuming you have Windows Vista or Windows 7 - it's somewhere else in XP, but I hope XP has died out by now so I do not need to figure out where it is).
1) In this folder, delete the file "EditVoicepackData.xml.gzip".
2) If there is a folder named "Updater":
--- a) Open it
--- b) Select "EditVoicepackData.xml.gzip"
--- c) Press Ctrl-C to copy the file
--- d) Go back to the C:\ProgramData\EditVoicepackX folder
--- e) Press Ctrl-V to paste the file.
If you had the "Updater" folder, your data file will be reverted to the state it was in the last time you ran update voicepack - any change you did after this is lost. If you do not have the "Updater" folder, you will loose all changes since EditVoicepack was installed. |
