Running EditVoicepackXL in P3D_V2.5+

Postby ejwells409 » Thu Apr 09, 2015 2:15 am

If this has been posted somewhere please delete this one. With V2.5 some of the file placements and folders have moved. One of those is the placement of the "airlines.cfg" file which usually lands in the root Sim directory when updated. However with V2.5 that file now belongs in the Lockheed Martin folder inside the "hidden folder" ProgramData. I couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting more Call Signs because what was available to me in the sim (about 40 call signs) wasn't what I saw in the cfg file in the main sim folder. Then I remembered that some files got moved around. . .so if you've updated your call signs but still see the basic set. . .that's why.

Thanks, I had not noticed that all all somehow. :)

I'll look into an update of EditVoicepack, hopefully this weekend.

Thanks Lars,
Once you know what's going on it's a simple process to move the cfg file over to it's new location. Having it do that automatically though would be great. I don't know why they moved some files and folders but once you know the locations I guess it's no big deal.

The full path is C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2
